The Tabacón Hot Springs are among the natural wonders of Costa Rica. This luxurious complex has won several awards including “The Leading Hotels of the World” and the “The Leading Spas of the World”
What makes Tabacon unique is the way the pools are formed and filled. Most of the hot spring complexes drill into the earth’s crust to locate the underground rivers. Some even reheat the waters using gas, which thereby removes the mineral benefits of the waters.
